Godzilla

The image of that huge dinosaur-like creature with a back more spiky than that punk kid's mohawk do, who generates huge waves every time it stomps on a bed of water is surely not something unfamiliar to you. Of course, the Godzilla is a Japanese classic, with its bridge-breaking body and its fire breath of fury.

And now, here comes a modern twist of it.

When the world is faced with two unidentified mutant nuclear-feeding creatures of different sexes in the name of MUTO, everybody freaks out. If two MUTOs are enough to freak everybody out, how about the baby MUTOs that these two mutants can create?

Now, it's time for the unlikeliest hero to come and bathe in its new beam of spotlight.

All in all, it's a great movie for fans who's dying to see a huge monstrous Zilla who isn't in the form of rubbery costume and takes action with a great set of effects. I have to admit that my heart rate raised a bit when I saw the image of a huge silhouette of monstrosity swimming under the sea. It's like my childhood dream come true (knowing the fact that I obsess over monsters of the sea when I was younger).

7.3/10 for me.
