Those little things

Hey there! Oh wow, October is already here (my birthday is coming soon, whoop-dee-doo~ [please just ignore this sentence]), time flies by so fast, huh? They say time flies when your having fun. Well, uh... I guess I didn't have a lot of fun this September, but I did work a lot (at least I think so)! That kinda means that the old saying isn't really valid this time. I guess, time also flies by when you have lots of things to do.

Anywho, right now I am going to write about something that I thought about just today. About the little things that we see everyday in life. The little things that we don't even bother to notice; the little things that, well... to us, right now, means a little, but when you think about it again, they actually mean a lot.

I have been really into Ed Sheeran lately. If you don't know who he is, well, you are missing out on a lot! You have to listen to his songs. And not just hear... listen! His poetry is just amazeballs, and his soft and delicate music is very delightful in the ear. I haven't listened to all of his songs, but here are some examples of his songs that made it into the charts:

The lyrics that Ed Sheeran writes made me think. He writes about stuff that revolve around our everyday lives, and he made it sound so... beautiful and meaningful. And it made me realize that, beauty is all around us, and if we see everything from a very good perspective, we will easily see that it truly is. No kidding.

From the stuff that we obviously see everyday: the sky, clouds, trees, cats; to the people that we meet; the people that we love; the things that we eat... everything is beautiful. All of God's creations are beautiful, if we want to see it beautifully.

And these little things, once they're gone, I guess maybe that's the point where we realize that they were beautiful, and we should have savored and treasured them more when they were still around. From this realization, I have learned that we all should appreciate more of the things that doesn't seem to matter, and realize that even the smallest things have such big means.
