Some things that happened earlier...

So, here are some stuff that I thought I'd post here so that they could be more memorable! :)

Firstly,

My cousins (who reside in Jakarta) recently came to Samarinda to visit me and my family. I was so happy that they came. We rarely see each other, and talking face to face is SO much more different than just talking via chatting applications. Haidar is the oldest one, a year younger than I am. He's a bit awkward but he's very nice and bright. Followed by Farrel, who is in 6th grade, he's a basketball player and he gets along very nice with me. Next in line is Karina, she's the last child of my uncle's. She's just the nicest cutie pie (although she doesn't like being bothered).

We did a lot of things together and talked about a lot of stuff. But apparently they just stayed here for three days (two days for traveling forth and back), and we thought we'd escort them to Balikpapan (because Samarinda is cool enough to not have its own international airport) to continue their journey to Surabaya (their car is parked there). Because we needed a (kind of) holiday also, we decided to stay at a hotel in Balikpapan and have a bit of fun there. :)

I don't have a pic of Haidar though. ):

Second,

When we were in Balikpapan we decided to watch a movie. I was like, "Let's watch Killing Season!". I said that because apparently I saw somebody tweeting about it saying that the character focusing was really good. My mother kind of wanted to watch it too, and so we did.

I was really excited to finally go back to a movie theater, because apparently I haven't been in one for a while. I was feeling so happy. We went to the theater with my other cousins but we didn't watch the same movie. Some wanted to watch Smurfs 2, some wanted to watch Red 2, but me and my family chose Killing Season.

I don't know if I regret watching Killing Season, because well... hm. I don't know how to describe it. It was kind of filled with gore in the middle (like, heavy gore). I didn't see that coming. There was this lady who brought her son (who's like, 3-4 years old) and I don't know if he saw the gory stuff or not. Either way, some people left the theater because they couldn't stand it. There was this old guy who even had to be escorted by some employees.

The story was about the war and I guess revenge. Basically the main characters are just two males, one from America and one from Bosnia. Both had a past and a connection back in the war.

My sister was like, "I blame you because you made us all watch this!" Hey, what did I know about the movie? All I know is that I saw a good review of it, haha.

It was entertaining anyways, even if it made me and my sister a bit traumatic...

Third,

Me, my sister and our cousins (our other ones) went to Lamaru Beach together. They rented golf carts that could be driven around the beach area and my aunt rented them for us all. It was so fun! Regarding that I am learning to drive myself, it was a bit of a lesson for me. Maybe it was because it's a golf cart, it's easier to be driven. I don't know... I can't even make a straight line (yet) out of driving a common car.

So, when me and my cousin Nadia was riding on a golf cart together, we stopped at this peaceful spot to wait for her father because we got a bit too far from the golf cart that he's riding in. Suddenly, we heard noises from behind our golf cart. I was like, "Aren't we the only ones here?" But I guess that's what I thought until I turned around...

I was so surprised, these random kids were like, casually ducking on the hind(?) of the golf cart that we were driving! I was like, "Hey, where did you come from? When did you get up here?" And they're just like, "There, then." (That wasn't much of an answer, that I know).

"With who did you come here (Lamaru Beach)?" I asked them.

"With my father." One answered, I kinda didn't believe him though.

Nadia said that we should probably tell them to get off because it's dangerous for them to ride the back of this golf cart that sounded as if it was gonna fall apart. But I was okay with it, it didn't sound dangerous for me to ride the back of this cart. And so, when Om Fahiem finally showed up, we continued our golf cart ride with those random kids randomly riding up the back of it.

I guess those are the stuff that I wanted to post here. It's getting late over here, and some shut-eye is needed. Good night, I hope that our lives will be wonderful for more years to come<3 hihi.
